Hi and welcome! I am a mother of 3 lovely children and I offer home organization consultation services. 

Certified as a Marie Kondo consultant in 2023, I actually started out as a corporate banker and had plans to pursue a PhD overseas, but gave that up when my eldest was born as it was paramount to me that I was her primary caregiver.    

Since then, I have been a full-time homemaker, freelance writer, handy woman, chef, chauffeur, event organiser, personal assistant, "nurse and doctor" to my family.  

I have managed the most part of it without a live-in helper, although I engaged one for just over three years when my youngest was on the way. 

However, I love the privacy of having the home to ourselves and value training my children to clean up after themselves. 

So in early 2022, my husband and I made the transition back to having no live-in help. 

It has been great seeing the whole family come together to clean and tidy. Even my preschooler has learnt to change his bedsheets and  keep his own clothes.   

In Chinese, home is 家 [jia], which carries the double meaning of house and family.
